Diego San Cristóbal

Diego San Cristóbal has a solid background in ML Engineering, Data Science, and AI Engineering. Diego currently works as an ML Engineer and Data Scientist at VoxSmart since November 2021. Prior to that, they held a similar role at VASS from September 2020 to November 2021. Before that, Diego worked as an AI Engineer and Data Scientist at Rubricall from April 2019 to September 2020, where they were responsible for developing projects based on deep learning and machine learning, including a facial recognition onboarding system. Diego also gained experience as an NLP Engineer at MeaningCloud from February 2018 to April 2019, and as an intern at the same company from November 2017 to February 2018. Diego completed their Master's degree in Ingeniería de telecomunicaciones (Telecommunications Engineering) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2015 to 2018. During the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in Inteligencia artificial (Artificial Intelligence) from Sapienza Università di Roma.

Prior to their Master's degrees, Diego obtained a Grado en Ingeniería (Bachelor's degree) in Ingeniería de telecomunicaciones (Telecommunications Engineering) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they completed from 2010 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Diego has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. These certifications include "Specialization Program - Programming with Google Go" from Coursera, obtained in January 2023. Diego also completed the "Modern NLP in Python" certification from Udemy in October 2021 and "Design Patterns in Python" certification from Udemy in July 2021. In 2020, they obtained the "Machine Learning Scientist Career Track with Python" certification from DataCamp.

Earlier certifications include "Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow," "Deep Learning Specialization (5 courses)," "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning," and "Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow," all obtained from Coursera in July 2019. Diego also completed the "Machine Learning with Python" certification from Udemy in March 2019 and "Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing" certification from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in October 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp" certification from Udemy in March 2018.
