Thomas Hanson

Thomas Hanson has extensive experience in risk management and finance, currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Venerable since June 2018. In addition, Thomas holds the position of Head of Corporate Risk at both Voya Financial and ING U.S., and has served in various roles at ING since January 2006, including Chief Insurance Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and the University of Windsor, completed between 1988 and 1994.
