James Swanston

James Swanston is the current CEO at Voyage Control. James has an extensive background in both the military and in business. James served in the British Army from 2007 to 2015, reaching the rank of Officer. James then founded the retail company One Village in 2005, serving as its CEO until 2007. In 2008, they became the Chief Executive Officer of European Young Professionals, a position they held until 2011. James also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Meltwater Ventures from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their business ventures, Swanston also served in the Australian Army from 1995 to 2005, reaching the rank of Captain.

James Swanston has a Master of International Relations and Asian Politics from The University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Asian Studies from Griffith University, a Diploma in Export Management from Griffith University, a Bachelor of Laws from Griffith University, and a Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University.
