Roberto Facendola

Roberto Facendola has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Roberto currently works as a Scientist I in the Downstream Process Development department at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. since March 2020. Prior to this, from January 2017 to February 2020, they held the position of Associate II Oligonucleotide Chemist at Sarepta Therapeutics.

Before joining Sarepta Therapeutics, Roberto worked at Biogen from July 2012 to December 2016. During this time, they held the roles of Manufacturing Sciences Engineer/Manufacturing Associate IV from November 2015 to December 2016 and Manufacturing Associate III from July 2012 to November 2015. In these positions, they were actively involved in technology transfer and the execution of changeover protocols. Roberto also gained experience in operating chromatography columns, UF/DF, and viral filtration systems.

Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Medical Valve Backflow Tester at NP Medical from December 2007 to June 2008. In this role, they retrieved sample valves, performed backflow tests, and recorded the results.
