Following that, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Interactive Media and Communications from Quinnipiac University from 2009 to 2019.

In addition to their degrees, Jamila has also obtained two certifications. In September 2019, they became a member of the NISM Advisory Committee at the National Institute for Social Media.
