About the Role
VRIFY seeks a revenue-focused Director of Marketing to accelerate our leadership position in AI-assisted mineral discovery. This role is crucial in executing our GTM strategy while unifying and developing our newly formed marketing organization.
As Director of Marketing, you will report directly to the VP Marketing and partner closely with the Director of Sales to drive integrated revenue generation. You will lead an experienced team of managers across Content Marketing, Customer Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Marketing Analytics, establishing the frameworks and processes needed to operate as a cohesive revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Execute and evolve our established GTM strategy, identifying new opportunities while maintaining alignment with core business objectives
Partner with VRIFY’s Director of Sales to ensure seamless Marketing and Sales integration in pursuit of revenue goals
Drive strategic prioritization and resource allocation to maximize team impact and accelerate business outcomes
Guide cross-functional initiatives that strengthen VRIFY's market position in AI-assisted mineral discovery
Go-to-Market Execution
Collaborate with the VP Marketing on product marketing strategy and category creation initiatives
Guide and enable account-based marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader GTM objectives
Oversee the development of compelling market narratives and positioning
Drive alignment between marketing programs and sales processes to accelerate revenue growth
Revenue Generation
Drive measurable revenue contribution through high-quality pipeline generation, focusing on sales-accepted opportunities and closed business
Champion revenue-focused marketing initiatives that demonstrably influence enterprise sales outcomes
Define and drive marketing OKRs that directly align with company revenue objectives
Monitor and optimize core business metrics that demonstrate genuine market impact
Team Development
Lead and develop our newly hired marketing managers into a unified, high-performing team
Foster an environment of open collaboration and shared accountability among our experienced marketing leaders
Support organic team development while removing obstacles to cross-functional success
Guide and enable team leads while maintaining appropriate autonomy in their respective domains
Foster a culture of revenue focus, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making
Qualifications
Experience:
8+ years of B2B marketing experience with 4+ years in senior leadership roles
Proven track record of driving revenue growth through marketing in enterprise software/SaaS
Experience developing high-performing marketing teams
Strong background in sales and marketing alignment
Leadership Capabilities:
Strategic mindset with strong execution orientation
Ability to develop and mentor experienced managers while maintaining their autonomy
Excellence in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
Track record of building high-trust relationships across Sales and Marketing
Data-driven decision maker with strong business acumen
Skills:
Deep understanding of enterprise B2B marketing and sales processes
Strong grasp of revenue operations and GTM strategy execution
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and results
Experience with change management and team development
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Relevant leadership and management training valued
