Frederik Delaplace

Frederik Delaplace is an experienced media executive currently serving as CEO of VRT since August 2020. Prior to this role, Frederik was CEO of Mediafin from April 2007 to August 2020, where Frederik oversaw the publishing of Belgium's leading business dailies, De Tijd and L'Echo, along with their associated magazines. Frederik also held the position of Editorial Director at Mediafin, managing the editorial operations for the business newspapers. Earlier in their career, Frederik was the Editor in Chief of De Tijd, where Frederik contributed to its status as the premier business publication in Flanders. Frederik holds a Bachelor after Master in Press and Communications and a Master in Applied Economics from KU Leuven.
