Dennis Lum

Dennis Lum has worked in the IT field since 2013. Dennis started as a Desktop Support Technician at Pfizer via CompuCom, where they handled technical troubleshooting and tracked priority 1 issues. In 2015, they moved to CGS (Computer Generated Solutions) as a Server Administrator, where they installed, configured, and managed software on Workstations, Terminal, Task, and IIS Servers. Dennis also managed data on client databases using Microsoft SQL Server and conducted computer technology training with all new staff members. In 2018, they became a Solutions Engineer at Agile Networks. In 2019, they joined In Mocean Group as an Information Technology Support Engineer, providing technical support for computer, phone and other IT related issues to over 200 users. Dennis also managed the lifecycle of IT related assets, such as laptops, printers, phones and other hardware owned by the company. Currently, they are a Front End Developer at VS Media.

Dennis Lum is currently enrolled in App Academy, studying Software Engineering. Dennis previously obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) from CUNY New York City College of Technology, where they studied Architectural Technology. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from CompTIA, including Network+ in September 2014 and A+ in May 2013. Dennis is also in the process of obtaining a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco.
