Harald Hess is an experienced executive and board member with a robust background in technology and innovation within the energy sector. Currently serving as Aufsichtsratsmitglied at VSE AG and e.dialog Netz GmbH, as well as Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender at Bayernwerk, E.ON Grid Solutions, and HanseWerk-Gruppe, Harald Hess brings extensive leadership experience to various organizations. As Senior Vice President of Technology & Innovation at E.ON since March 2021, alongside previous roles including Vorstand Technik at Westenergie, and Lead Sunrise Workstream German Grid at E.ON, Harald Hess has demonstrated a commitment to advancing digital technology in the industry. Harald Hess holds a Diplom in Informatik from Technische Universität Braunschweig, earned between 1984 and 1990.
