Ben Williams

Ben Williams has over 15 years of work experience in the technology field. Ben currently works as a Lead Technologist - Software Development at VSolvit. Prior to that, they worked at AT&T as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in full stack web development using .NET MVC 5 and Oracle backend. Ben also supported the development of Command mission training software. Before joining AT&T, Ben was the owner of MaidPro, a cleaning service company. Ben started their career in 2004 at Harris Connect as a Data Specialist. After that, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Software Developer, where they served as the Team Lead for SQL/.NET Developers on the NMCI contract and utilized the Microsoft Stack for development. Overall, Ben has a diverse background with experience in various technology roles.

Ben Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a concentration in Information Technology (IT) from Old Dominion University, which they attended from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their degree, Ben has acquired several certifications. In December 2010, they obtained the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA. Furthermore, in April 2017, they earned the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA and the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification from Microsoft.

More recently, Ben obtained the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon in July 2021. In August 2020, they also acquired the Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
