Jesus Sanchez

Jesus Sanchez has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and security. Jesus started their career in the United States Marine Corps as an Electronic Ordinance Technician, responsible for the maintenance and security of military arsenal. Jesus then transitioned into roles such as Facility Manager and Information Systems Coordinator, where they ensured the functionality and safety of office and dormitory environments.

In 2017, Jesus joined TEKsystems as an IT Specialist Jr, working on Department of Defense projects. Jesus then moved to STRATASCORP in 2019, where they served as an IT Specialist Mid and Network Engineering Apprentice for the Department of Defense's NGEN and MCEN programs.

Currently, Jesus is working at VSolvit as an Information Systems Security Officer for the Department of Defense US Navy. Jesus'sresponsibilities include maintaining the security of information systems within the organization.

Throughout their career, Jesus has demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Jesus Sanchez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Development and Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2021. Jesus'seducation also includes one year of study at Western Connecticut State University, where they pursued a degree in General Studies from 2012 to 2013 but did not complete it. In addition to their formal education, Jesus has obtained several certifications, including Python for Beginners from Sololearn in March 2022, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in September 2018, MTA: Security Fundamentals - Certified 2017 from Microsoft in September 2017, Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate from Cisco in August 2020, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA in August 2020, CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in August 2017, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate from Microsoft in August 2020, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in August 2020.
