Mycah Mason's work experience spans from 1996 to the present day. They began their career as a Gunner's Mate in the US Navy, serving from 1996 to 2000. Following this, Mycah worked as a Network Operations Technician at Blizzard Entertainment for a short period in 2006.

In 2006, Mycah joined PlanNet Consulting as an IT Administrator, managing Cisco LAN, WAN, and VoIP networks, as well as Windows Server environments. They provided IT support and managed various systems until 2011.

From 2011 to 2012, Mycah worked at San Diego Gas & Electric as a Network Analyst. In this role, they successfully installed, administered, and troubleshot network management systems. They also engaged clients and improved team efficiency through documentation.

Afterward, Mycah worked as a Network Analyst at Structure Networks for a brief period in 2011-2012.

In 2012, they joined The GDR Group as a Field Technician, analyzing and resolving information system issues. From 2014 to 2015, Mycah transitioned to the role of Project Manager at the same company.

In 2015, Mycah briefly worked as an iOS App Developer at Flip Studios, where they rebuilt the Polyphonic audio app using Swift 2 and followed Scrum agile programming principles.

Mycah's next role was as a Jr GIS Web Developer at VSolvit from 2016 to 2018. They developed solutions using Esri's ArcGIS API for JavaScript and maintained mobile apps. They also updated web applications for accessibility compliance.

Since 2018, Mycah has continued their career at VSolvit. They initially worked as a Software Developer, focused on the utilities program used by the Department of the Navy for global energy management. From 2021 to 2022, they progressed to the role of Software Engineer 2 before becoming a Software Engineer 3 in January 2022.

Mycah Mason attended UC Irvine from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science. In October 2021, Mycah also obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
