Jamie Tanner

Jamie Tanner has a diverse work experience in the production and creative industry. They are currently the Director of Production at Shine VR, where they are responsible for developing high-end VR content for a virtual reality-based platform focused on improving the employee experience. Prior to this role, Jamie was the Director of Production at vStream, where they led a team of skilled creatives and oversaw the production process for various types of content. They also served as a Creative Producer and Director, handling interactive projects on multiple platforms including VR and AR. Jamie has also worked as a Senior Producer and Director at a global experiential technology agency, specializing in sports sponsorship activations. Before these roles, Jamie gained experience as a Photographer, Videographer, and Director of Photography in various companies. They have a strong background in directing, editing, and producing high-quality imagery for music, cultural events and other projects.

Jamie Tanner has a diverse education history, with a focus on creative leadership and film production. They obtained an Advanced Certificate in Television & Video Production from Fás in May 2010. In September 2001, Jamie received an M.A. in Film Production from Technological University Dublin. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in Drama & Theatre Studies from Trinity College Dublin in June 2000. Jamie also completed a FETAC Level 6 degree in Television & Video Production from Fás Tralee, which lasted from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Jamie attended Animation Skillnet in 2021-2022 to further develop their skills in creative leadership. They also attended Skillnet Ireland in 2018 for a course on leading people and teams.
