Dan Smith

Dan Smith is the current President & CEO at VT Community Foundation. Dan has previously served as the President of Vermont Technical College from March 2014 to August 2016, and as the Director of Community Relations and Public Policy for Vermont State Colleges from October 2010 to April 2014. Dan has also been the Vice President of GBIC- The Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation from September 2006 to June 2009, where they were focused on creating quality economic opportunities in Chittenden County, Vermont. Prior to that, they worked as an associate attorney at Downs Rachlin Martin, PLLC from September 2003 to July 2006.

Dan Smith completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, where they studied history. Dan then attended the University of Virginia School of Law, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
