John Winkley

John Winkley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational assessment and consultancy. Currently serving as the Director at AlphaPlus Consultancy Ltd since 2006, John also holds positions as a Board Member at VTCT group and AQA Global Assessment Services. As Chairperson of Beckfoot Trust, John oversees a network of government schools in West Bradford and the Aire Valley, committed to excellence in education. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors, John's past roles include expert consultant at JISC and owner of 3Square Solutions Ltd, alongside significant contributions as Commercial Director at BTL and Chief Executive at Virtual College, which John co-founded. John Winkley holds a MEng BSc in Electronics from the University of Bath.
