Sunil Ramchand has an extensive work experience history. Sunil began their career in 1996 as a Strike Warfare Officer and Damage Control Assistant in the US Navy, serving on the USS LEYTE GULF (CG 55). Sunil later served as an Executive Officer and Operations Officer on the USS TEMPEST (PC 2).
In 2000, Ramchand transitioned to work at The White House as a Watch Officer in the President's Emergency Operations Center. Over the years, they held various roles within the Presidential Contingency Programs, including Program Manager, Director of Contingency Operations, Executive Director, and Director of the Presidential Transition Team.
In 2009, Ramchand joined Mission Essential, where they served as the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff. Sunil later became the Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer, and ultimately the Chief Executive Officer.
In 2018, Ramchand joined VT Group as the President and Chief Growth Officer. Sunil continues to hold this position.
Sunil Ramchand pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy from 1991 to 1995. After a gap of several years, they returned to their academic pursuits and obtained a Master in Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University between 2007 and 2008.
