Kornelija Buivydaitė is an experienced student leader and researcher currently serving as the Student Representatives' Coordinator at Vilnius University Students' Representation since September 2019, where coordination of the student representative process and collaboration with faculty coordinators are primary responsibilities. In addition, Kornelija is the Chairwoman of the Vilnius University Life Sciences Center Students' Representation, overseeing representation processes and focusing on enhancing the quality of study programs. Kornelija has also interned at the National Cancer Institute since September 2020, contributing to research projects that resulted in multiple poster presentations and a scientific publication. A student intern at the Kirchhoff Institute for Physics, Heidelberg University, from October 2022 to March 2023, Kornelija worked on super-resolution localization microscopy. Kornelija held roles in organizing the COINS conference, managing international relations, and coordinating speaker participation. Kornelija holds an undergraduate degree in Biophysics from Vilnius University and has completed a study semester abroad at Heidelberg University.
