Roya Daftarian is a Project Controls Manager at Vulcan Industrial Contractors. Roya has previous experience working as an assistant construction manager at DMD Engineering and Construction, Inc. from January 2007 to December 2010. During their time at DMD Engineering and Construction, they were responsible for working concurrently with engineering staff in all facets of construction including scheduling, quality control, risk management, profit and loss forecasting, as well as estimating jobs for government and commercial projects throughout the Metro-Atlanta area. Roya was also responsible for attending progress review meetings with various clients. Some of their notable achievements include being part of the Dekalb County Infrastructure Study where they evaluated potential water, sewer and storm water improvement projects needed in the study area; Clearwell Pump Header and Piping System Design Improvements for Scott Candler WTP where they worked under Brown & Caldwell Environmental Engineers and Consultants through the duration of the project; and Gwinnett County Neighborhood Stabilization Program (GNSP) where they were responsible for assisting in maintaining acquired foreclosed properties in compliance with Gwinnett County Property Maintenance Ordinance Standard, from the purchase of home, through the completion of rehabilitation.

Roya Daftarian graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Roya Daftarian reports to Sandy Killion, CEO. They are on a team with Jason Kelley - Area Construction Manager, Carina Eberle - VP, EH&S, and Tripp Giles - Controller.
