Bartosz Wasilewski has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bartosz started their career as a Capital Market Specialist at CP Group Poland from November 2011 to October 2014, where they analyzed corporate debt issuances and performed research activities in the capital market.
Bartosz then worked as an Internal Supervisory and Control Specialist at Money Makers S.A. from February 2013 to October 2014.
After that, they joined Rubicon Partners Corporate Finance as an Associate from November 2014 to April 2018. During this time, they focused on M&A advisory, debt/equity/mezzanine financing, negotiation of transaction documentations, and financial modeling in industries such as healthcare, cosmetics, and retail.
From April 2018 to December 2018, they served as a Transaction Manager at Bank Pekao, where they executed structured finance transactions, negotiated facilities and securities agreements, and monitored portfolio companies.
In 2019, Bartosz took on several interim CFO roles. Bartosz was the Interim CFO at podioom from January 2019 to August 2020 and at newonce.media from May 2019 to March 2020. At newonce.media, they also held the positions of Chief Legal Officer and Member of the Supervisory Board from October 2019 to June 2020.
In 2020, Bartosz became a Member of the Supervisory Board at Virbe, a company specializing in virtual beings for the metaverse and autonomous shopping. At Virbe, they also served as an Interim CFO and Board Advisor from May 2020 to February 2022.
Since November 2021, Bartosz has been an Interim CFO at InMotion Labs, and from October 2022, they will be taking on the role of CFO at Epinote | Data Annotation & Collection.
Finally, in January 2019, Bartosz founded Torero Solutions and currently serves as the CEO.
Bartosz Wasilewski has a strong educational background in finance and law. Bartosz began their education at III LO Gdynia from 2005 to 2008, studying economics. Bartosz then attended the University of Warsaw from 2008 to 2011, completing a Bachelor's degree in Finance. Bartosz continued their education at the University of Warsaw from 2008 to 2013, completing a Master's degree program in Law. Additionally, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master-level program in Finance at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
In terms of certifications, Bartosz obtained a securities brokerage license from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in November 2011. Bartosz also obtained certifications as an Investments Adviser from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in October 2014, and as a Certified Adviser on NewConnect & Catalyst markets from the Warsaw Stock Exchange in November 2014.
