Gerben Jansen

Gerben Jansen has extensive experience in dementia care, currently serving as Vakgroepsenior Casemanager Dementie at Thuiszorg West-Brabant since June 2004, where leadership and oversight of the dementia team is a primary responsibility. Jansen has held various roles in dementia management, including Senior Casemanager Dementie and Dementieverpleegkundige, providing guidance and support to individuals with dementia and their families. In addition to roles at V&VN, including Voorzitter afdeling Dementieverpleegkundigen and Bestuurslid V&VN M&G, Jansen serves as an Expert for Alzheimer Nederland and as an FTD Expert, focusing on complex neurodegenerative diseases. As the owner of Augusta-D, a specialist in dementia care, Jansen also engages in educational initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Hoge School Zeeland and advanced certifications in dementia management and care policy.
