Stefan Axelsson

Stefan Axelsson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading high-profile technology initiatives across various companies and regions. Currently serving as Chief Technology Information Officer at VX Fiber since September 2021, Stefan previously held the same title at IP-Only, a leading independent pan-nordic fiber operator. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, where leadership resulted in Qatar becoming a leader in fiber connectivity, and CEO of Mobile Norway AS, which established Norway's third national mobile network. Stefan has also served in several key positions at Tele2, contributing to technology integration and project management. Early career experiences include positions at Ericsson Radio System AB and Saab Dynamics AB, complemented by academic achievements in Information Theory and an MSc in Physics & Electrical Engineering from Linköping Institute of Technology.
