Frans Lawaetz

Frans Lawaetz is a seasoned technology executive with a diverse background in systems architecture and operations management. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CIO at Vyasa Analytics since November 2017, Lawaetz has previously held key positions including Director of Platform Operations at Genospace and Senior Systems Architect at Thomson Reuters, following the acquisition of Entagen where Lawaetz was Lead Systems Architect. Lawaetz possesses extensive experience in managing complex compute infrastructures, notably at the Broad Institute, overseeing a significant environment consisting of over 1,000 blades and 8 petabytes of data. Lawaetz began a career in systems administration with roles at Tributes, Inc., Dotomi, Inc., and Lion Bioscience Research, and holds a degree from La Salle University.
