Shannon Weinberg

Shannon Weinberg has a diverse range of work experience as a corporate paralegal. Shannon began their career at Spizziri & Associates, where they specialized in corporate, securities, and tax law, as well as civil litigation and real estate. Shannon then moved on to AXIS Capital, where they worked on corporate, regulatory, compliance, and insurance law. Shannon also played a pivotal role in completing application processes for various insurance subsidiaries and achieving approval in 50 states for a new subsidiary.

After their time at AXIS Capital, Shannon joined ista North America, a management solutions and billing provider in the utility retail market. Here, they served as the initial point of contact for the in-house legal department and General Counsel. Shannon's responsibilities included preparing and reviewing contracts, creating and maintaining corporate governance and compliance documentation, and managing the company's licensing portfolios.

Next, Shannon worked at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, supporting the corporate and securities legal group. Shannon assisted with various aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including organizing closing signature packets, creating closing binder indices, and forming corporations and limited liability companies in different jurisdictions.

Shannon then joined Kids II as a contract corporate paralegal, where they helped establish and prepare the company's new legal structure. Shannon also developed an itemizing and organizational system for the business legal department while providing support to the Chief Compliance Officer and new General Counsel.

After Kids II, Shannon joined Sage as a Corporate Paralegal - Immigration Specialist. In this role, they handled a range of legal matters, including immigration, copyright, employment, HR compliance, and ADA/EEO/AAP. Shannon also assisted the VP of Employment & Compliance Counsel and the Head of North America Legal in their daily responsibilities.

Following their time at Sage, Shannon joined Taylor English Duma LLP as a Corporate Paralegal. Shannon provided comprehensive support to the Corporate group, specializing in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, licensing, and company formations across various US jurisdictions.

Most recently, Shannon has joined Vyne as a Senior Corporate Paralegal. Their responsibilities include providing expert assistance in corporate legal matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and licensing. Shannon began their role at Vyne in January 2022, following their previous position as a Corporate Paralegal at the same company since July 2019.

Shannon Weinberg obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University, which they attended from 1999 to 2004. In 2006, they received a Paralegal Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Emory University. Later, in 2015, they obtained an Immigration Certification in Legal Studies from The University of Georgia. Shannon also has additional certifications, including an Advanced Immigration for Paralegals Certificate from the University of Georgia, which they obtained in October 2015, and a Paralegal Certification from Emory University.
