Michael R. Dennis

Michael R. Dennis has over 30 years of experience in human resources and talent management. Michael R. currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Talent Management & Human Resources at VyStar Credit Union, where they oversee the organization's talent management strategies. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief People Officer at Formativ Health, responsible for leading various HR functions such as talent acquisition, compensation, and employee engagement. In their previous roles at TIAA Bank, TIAA, Bank of America, and GE, they held various leadership positions in human resources, including Chief Human Resources Officer and SVP Human Resources Executive. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in areas such as talent acquisition, organization design, compensation, and performance management.

Michael R. Dennis completed a Certificate of Completion in CAHRS at Cornell University ILR School in 2014. In the same year, they also completed another Certificate of Completion in CAHRS at the same institution. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in the Executive Program, specializing in Financial Analysis for Non-Financial Managers, from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Earlier in their educational journey, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued an MS degree in Human Resources and Personnel Management at American University. Lastly, in the period of 1980 to 1985, they earned a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State University.
