Brian Asquith is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in research and teaching. Currently serving as an economist at the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research since August 2018, Brian previously held a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Bureau of Economic Research focused on the economics of an aging workforce. Additional academic roles include positions as a visiting postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University and research assistant under Professor David Neumark at UC Irvine. Earlier career experiences encompass roles as a reimbursement systems analyst for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and as a research analyst at Quantitative Economic Solutions. Brian Asquith earned a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Brandeis University.
