Jean J. Kim

Jean Kim is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of molecular and cellular biology, stem cell research, and neuroscience. Currently serving as Senior Program Director at W.M. KECK FOUNDATION since June 2023, Jean previously held roles at Baylor College of Medicine as Adjunct Associate Professor, Associate Professor, and Director of the Human Stem Cell Core, among others, from January 2014 to present. Prior to this, Jean worked as Program Director at W.M. KECK FOUNDATION and as Assistant Project Scientist at UC San Diego, where research focused on human iPSC-based models of autism spectrum disorders. Jean's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Yale University, alongside master's and bachelor's degrees in Biology and English language and literature from Yonsei University, respectively.
