Jose Manuel Rego

Jose Manuel Rego has extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical industry. From 1992 to 2013, they worked at Dow Chemical, starting as a TICA and Quality Engineer and eventually becoming a Senior R&D Manager. In these roles, they led research and development teams, managed resources, developed value propositions, and served as a technical liaison for global market management teams. Since 2013, they have been working at W. R. Grace & Co., initially as a Senior R&D Manager and currently as the Global Technology Services Director. In this position, they lead multiple teams focused on business development, technical customer services, and process automation. Jose Manuel is accountable for the innovation pipeline of the Specialty Catalyst Business. Jose Manuel Rego earned a PhD in Polymer Science from The University of Salford, from 1988 to 1991. Prior to this, they pursued a PhD in Chemistry, specializing in Polymers, at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, from 1979 to 1987.
