Karel Jonak

Karel Jonak is a seasoned media and production professional, currently serving as the Media Production Director at W sportsmedia AB since October 2023. With an extensive background, Karel has held multiple roles at O2TV Sport since March 2021, including Head of Production and Operations. Karel was also the TV Productions Director for Ski Classics from 2010 until October 2023, overseeing all TV operations. The career in television began at Czech Television in 1998, focusing on major sports events as a TV Director. Karel's entrepreneurial experience includes ownership of Cafe Bar Giraffe from April 2015 to March 2020 and a tenure as CEO of Connect Zone s.r.o. in early 2015. Previous roles also encompass project management and executive positions in production firms. Karel's educational background includes a high school degree in information technologies from SPS ST Panska, complemented by foundational studies at Na Chodovci in Praha.
