Monica Batista Hernandez

Monica Batista Hernandez is a highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Grainger since June 2018, Monica specializes in cash accounting for USA entities and previously worked on accounting for Canadian companies, ensuring accuracy in cash management and branch reconciliations. Prior to Grainger, Monica held positions as a Senior Accountant at PSA Panama International Terminal, overseeing accounting closings and financial reporting, and as an Accounting Manager at Huawei Technologies Panama, where responsibilities included payroll and general accruals management. Monica began their career as a Senior Auditor at Baker Tilly Panama, managing audit teams and preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Monica holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Tax and Fiscal Management and a postgraduate degree in Managerial Accounting from Universidad Interamericana de Panamá, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad de Panamá.
