Sophia Fumagalli

Sophia Fumagalli currently serves as a Senior Financial Analyst in Contract Strategy at Grainger since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Strategy & Operations Supervisor on the Sales Side Distribution at McMaster-Carr from August 2022 to January 2024 and earlier positions such as Management Development Associate in Customer Finance. At The Kraft Heinz Company, Sophia held various titles including Associate Scientist in both Breakfast and Process Technology, as well as Corporate Management Associate in R&D from July 2020 to July 2022. A Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Owens Corning in 2019 and a Research Assistant at Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering, Sophia also worked as an Academic Tutor in Mathematics and Physics. Sophia earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis (2016-2020) and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Chicago, expected to complete in August 2024.
