Alëna Rodionova's work experience begins with their current position as a Senior Software Engineer at Waabi, which they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2017 to December 2022. Their role there involved assisting with research projects.

Alëna then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the same university from 2012 to 2014. Alëna then shifted their focus and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Wien from 2015 to 2017. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued another Doctor of Philosophy degree, this time in Electrical and Systems Engineering, at the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2022.
