Alëna Rodionova

Alëna Rodionova's work experience begins with their current position as a Senior Software Engineer at Waabi, which they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2017 to December 2022. Their role there involved assisting with research projects.

In 2019, Alëna had an internship at Intel Labs, where they worked as a Research Scientist Intern. Their responsibilities included automated driving safety analysis, software integration, and exploring the performance limits of AV safety models using robustness as a metric.

Alëna also gained experience as a Research and Development Intern at General Motors in 2018.

Alëna began their career as a Research Assistant and PhD Student at Technische Universität Wien in 2015. Their work focused on verification, formal methods, and temporal languages as part of a project on emergent properties specification language. Alëna stayed in this role until October 2017.

Alëna Rodionova began their education by completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Siberian Federal University from 2008 to 2012. Alëna then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the same university from 2012 to 2014. Alëna then shifted their focus and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Wien from 2015 to 2017. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued another Doctor of Philosophy degree, this time in Electrical and Systems Engineering, at the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2022.
