Shankar Dhar

Shankar Dhar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and management within the industrial sector. Currently serving as the Region Operations Director at Wabtec Corporation since April 2023, Shankar previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Adani Defence and Aerospace from July 2022 to May 2023. Prior roles include Vice President at GE Transportation from January 2017 to August 2022, Plant Manager at GE Oil & Gas from September 2015 to December 2016, and various leadership positions at GE Power & Water between July 2006 and August 2015, focusing on supply chain management and process optimization. Shankar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
