Gihoon Shin

Gihoon Shin is a Data Engineer at 와디즈 (wadiz) since June 2022, responsible for programming an API for the Ad Reporting Service and overseeing the TimescaleDB replacement for ISMS certification. Prior to this role, Gihoon served as a Senior Research Engineer at PuzzleData, where the development of a Prodiscovery 3.0 feature was accomplished. Initial experience included an internship at IBM Korea, contributing to technical articles and research projects, along with a role as a researcher and founding member of the Software Design Convergent Center at Dankook University. Gihoon's professional background also includes research assistance at Ticket Monster and service as a sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army. Gihoon holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Dankook University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Kyungsung University.
