Alex Christoforou

Alex Christoforou is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as President and Chairman of The Duran since May 2016, part of DRN MEDIA PLC in Nicosia, Cyprus, Alex also founded and directs Wadja Media Ltd., which operates a prominent online platform. Previously, Alex held the role of Country Chapter Director for Startup Grind from September 2012 to January 2015, promoting local startups and their integration into the international business community. Prior to these roles, Alex was the Managing Director at Box Up Solutions S.A. from October 2002 to February 2006, focusing on web development, and worked as a Sales Consultant for AirTouch Communication from April 1997 to August 1999. Alex holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a degree from William & Mary.
