Matthew Hosey

Matthew Hosey is a civil engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering design. Currently serving as a Project Manager at the Jackson Co Board of Supervisors since October 2019, Hosey also holds the title of Project Engineer at Waggoner Engineering since September 2015, where responsibilities include the design of water, sewer, and transportation projects, as well as coordinating the surveying phase of projects. Prior experience includes an Engineer Intern role at Batson & Brown Inc., focusing on the design and management of wastewater collection and stormwater systems, and a Research Assistant position at The University of Mississippi, where advanced soil tests were conducted to address issues in the New Orleans levee system. Hosey earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Mississippi from 2008 to 2011 and completed high school at Stone High School from 1997 to 2001.
