Tom Roca

Tom Roca is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Vice President and Head of Product Development for the Automation Business Unit at WAGO Corporation since December 2022. Prior to this role, Tom held multiple positions at Sauter from November 2006 to December 2022, culminating in the role of Chief Operating Officer Technology and overseeing Software Research & Development. Tom also served as Chief Executive Officer at Verticalla, a company partnered with Sauter AG and Critical Software, from February 2017 to December 2022. Earlier experiences include roles at Endress+Hauser as a Research and Development Engineer and at Roche as a Development Engineer in Regulation. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Automation and Industrial IT from Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar and an Ingenieur degree in Mechatronics from the University of Applied Sciences FHNW.
