Mushir Killedar

Mushir Killedar has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Mushir has been the Country Director and VP of Group Risk & Compliance at Wahed since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of VP of Internal Audit & Risk at Wahed starting from March 2021.

Before joining Wahed, Mushir worked at ANB Consulting Company, where they held various positions including Senior Manager from September 2018 to March 2021, Manager from April 2015 to September 2018, Asst. Manager in Business Risk Management Vertical from September 2012 to March 2015, and Senior Consultant in Business Risk Management Vertical from March 2009 to August 2012. In these roles, they provided compliance advisory for financial companies, conducted internal and process audits of stock broking companies, performed due diligence and internal audits of mutual fund distributors, conducted risk assessments and operations/process reviews of broking companies, reviewed trading applications, and documented standard operating procedures for financial companies.

Prior to ANB Consulting Company, Mushir worked at Bombay Stock Exchange Limited as a Deputy Manager from February 2007 to March 2009. In this role, they investigated possible manipulations in scrips identified by the BSE Online Surveillance System Integrated (BOSSi) and at the behest of SEBI, detecting cases of insider trading, circular trading, price rigging, and generation of artificial volumes.

Mushir Killedar has a diverse education history. Mushir obtained a Diploma in Securities Law from Government Law College in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's in Management Studies (MMS) with a focus on Finance at Rizvi Management Institute from 2005-2007. Mushir also holds a Master's in Commerce (M.Com) in Management from H.R.College of Commerce & Economics, which they completed from 2003-2005. Mushir began their undergraduate education at the same institution, earning a Bachelor's in Commerce (B.Com) with a specialization in Travel & Tourism from 1998-2003.
