Julie Huard

Julie Huard has worked in various roles in the field of talent and culture, people operations and services, total rewards, talent acquisition, and payroll/HR specialist. Julie most recently served as the Director of Talent & Culture at Wainbee Limited since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of People Operations & Services at Fire & Flower from June 2020 to May 2022. Julie also held a managerial position at McCoy Global from November 2012 to January 2020, overseeing total rewards and talent acquisition. Julie started their career at XS Cargo in January 2010 as a Payroll/HR Specialist, where they worked until November 2012.

Julie Huard pursued their education chronologically, starting with a two-year Diploma in Human Sciences at Collège de Rosemont from 2000 to 2002. Later, from 2018 to 2023, they attended Athabasca University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Labour Relations. Additionally, Julie holds several certifications, including the CPM (Certified Payroll Manager) from The Canadian Payroll Association, obtained in 2015, the PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) also from The Canadian Payroll Association, obtained in 2011, and a Leadership and Communication Certificate from Dale Carnegie, obtained in 2006.
