Jane Craighead

Jane Craighead, PhD, CPA, CA has an extensive work experience in various prominent organizations. Starting as Vice President of Compensation and Benefits at Alcan in 2007, they later held the position of Global Practice Leader at Rio Tinto. Jane then served as SVP Global Human Resources at Scotiabank before transitioning to multiple roles as a Corporate Director in companies like Clearwater Seafoods LP, Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited, IPG, Crombie REIT, Wajax, and Telesat. Currently, they are a Member of the Administrative Board at Medicus Pension Plan.

Jane Craighead, PhD, CPA, CA completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting at Mount Allison University from 1976 to 1980. Jane then pursued a Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting at McGill University from 1980 to 1981. Later, they obtained their PhD in Management with a focus on Accounting and Economics at McGill University from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, Jane obtained their CPA CA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in 1982.
