Nicolas Castro has extensive work experience in the software development industry. Nicolas started their career as an Ssr Developer at Belatrix SF S.A., where they analyzed and developed MLM systems. Nicolas then worked as a .NET Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at Knowledge SF S.A., followed by a role as a .NET Senior Software Engineer at Power Solution S.A., where they developed business management systems.
Later, Nicolas joined Clifton Myers Enterprises (CME), starting as a Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer. Nicolas worked on various projects, including the translation of a legal system from Delphi to .NET. Additionally, they served as an iOS Software Engineer, reporting and fixing bugs for a Subway Restaurant Management System.
Nicolas continued their career at Wakapi, first as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed a POS system for Subway Corporate. Later, they took on the role of Technical Project Manager, managing a development team for Apollo/InCrowd, a Market Research company specialized in Life Sciences. In this role, they coordinated releases, served as an interim Product Manager, and gathered requirements from various areas of the company.
Throughout their career, Nicolas has utilized various Agile methodologies and tools, such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Bamboo, and has experience with TDD and unit testing. Nicolas has strong communication and coordination skills, having worked with cross-functional teams, offshore counterparts, client representatives, and project managers.
Nicolas Castro attended Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 2001 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Informatica as an Ingeniero en Sistemas de Informacion. In addition to their formal education, Nicolas obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in April 2020.
