Stephanie Sessoms

Stephanie Sessoms is currently the VP of Finance at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. Stephanie has over 19 years of experience in hospital and healthcare finance leadership and teaching positions. Stephanie has experience in many aspects of accounting and finance, including hospital mergers and joint-ventures, board service within organization and community, consolidated financial statements, non-controlling interest reporting, establishment of financial entity structures, investments portfolios, bond reporting, cash & cash clearing, physician set up and reporting, physician contracts, tax returns to include Form 990, 1065's, payroll returns, business license reporting, property tax returns. Additionally, Stephanie has experience in self-insured health, operating budgets, capital asset reporting and budget, benchmark implementation team of Solucient product. Stephanie also has experience as an adjunct accounting professor at a community college, where they taught Computerized Accounting.

Stephanie Sessoms received their BS from the University of Virginia in accounting, economics, and healthcare. Stephanie then went on to get their MHA from Pfeiffer University in May 2016. Stephanie is also a certified public accountant (VA inactive status).
