Anil V. Gabhe

Anil V. Gabhe has over 30 years of work experience in the field of internal auditing. Anil'smost recent position was as Chief Internal Auditor & VP (Audit & Assurance) at Walchandnagar Industries Limited since November 2017. Prior to that, they served as Chief Internal Auditor (Retainer), Group Assurance at KALPATARU POWER TRANSMISSION LIMITED from September 2014 to May 2017. Anil has also held positions such as Director - Audit at B K Khare & Co, Head of Process Assurance at Essar Group, Chief Internal Auditor at CEAT Tyres Limited, Chief Internal Auditor at KEC RPG Cables, and Head of Internal Audit at Amforge Industries Ltd, among others. Anil is experienced in leading audit teams, implementing audit processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards. Anil has expertise in conducting various types of audits, including site audits, process reviews, and financial audits. Anil has also been involved in developing standard operating procedures, providing training to auditors, and actively interacting with senior management and audit committees.

Anil V. Gabhe has a diverse education history. Anil obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from M.L.Dahanukar College of Commerce Mumbai, which they pursued from 1976 to 1980. Following this, from 1982 to 1985, they attended Government Law College, Mumbai, where they completed their Bachelor of Laws degree. Anil then went on to become a Chartered Accountant after studying at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India until 1986. Later, they pursued further professional development by obtaining the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors in 2003.
