Lauren Sessa

Lauren Sessa has a diverse work experience in graphic design, starting with their current position as a Senior Graphic Designer at Waldinger Creative since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graphic Design Specialist at Solari Creative from 2019 to 2023, where they developed cohesive branding for a government agency, designed logos and stationary, and created templates and forms. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Junior Graphics Designer at GES - Global Experience Specialists, collaborating with high-profile clients and creating print media. Before that, they were a Creative Marketing Associate at Pop! Promos from 2015 to 2016, focusing on web graphics and marketing design. Lauren'searlier experience includes an internship at Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, where they redesigned their Facebook page, and a graphic design internship at Bella Forte Boxes, Books & Letterpress. In addition, they held various roles at Maryland Institute College of Art, including Fitness Assistant and Art Store Clerk. Lauren also gained experience as a Game Design Intern at Sparkypants Studios and worked as a Freelance Illustrator for Burke and Jaskot Law, creating an anti-police brutality poster. Lastly, they interned as a Letterpress Intern at Globe Letterpress at MICA, where they worked on designing print frames and caring for printing presses.

Lauren Sessa pursued their education from 2011 to 2015 at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. During their time there, Lauren studied a diverse range of subjects including Illustration, Creative Writing, Graphic Design, and Game Design.
