Shane Buschini

Shane Buschini is an experienced security professional with a background in both hospitality and law enforcement. Currently serving as the Director of Security at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club since September 2016, Shane oversees systems and procedures to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and vendors, while also investigating crimes like fraud and ID theft. Prior roles include Director of Safety and Security at JC Resorts, where Shane managed security operations across multiple properties, and Security Team Leader at The Resort at Pelican Hill, responsible for detailed investigations and audits. Shane began a career in law enforcement as a Police Officer with the City of Montclair and initially spent time as a professional baseball player with the San Diego Padres. Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, a graduate degree from the California Basic Police Academy, and a Master's degree in Education - Mathematics from Vanguard University of Southern California.
