Bijal Patel

Bijal Patel is a highly accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as Finance Director for Global Cost Transformation at Walgreens Boots Alliance since July 2012, Bijal has spearheaded significant projects, including leading an integrated management reporting initiative and achieving substantial revenue growth for Sleek MakeUP. Earlier roles include Director of Global FP&A during the merger process between Alliance Boots and Walgreens, and various positions including Senior Finance Business Partner at HSBC and Manager at KPMG. Bijal's career began as an Investment Banking Analyst at HSBC and included early experience as an Economist at HM Treasury. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, both from the University of Cambridge.
