Maria Collazos

Maria Collazos is a Research Analyst at Walk Free since February 2023, following a role as Principal Advisor at the Department of Communities WA from June to December 2022. Maria has extensive experience at Save the Children Australia, serving in various capacities including Volunteer Staff for international programs, Project Design and Development Officer, and Administration Officer from 2011 to 2021. During tenure at Save the Children, Maria contributed significantly to the design, development, and reporting of funding proposals and monitoring frameworks. Additional experience includes a role as Community Engagement Officer at Hospital Usaquen and the Transit Department's Citizenship Education Division. Maria holds multiple degrees, including a Diploma in Science with a focus on Psychology from The University of Western Australia and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact from the same institution. Current studies continue at The University of Western Australia.
