Ken Buchanan

Ken Buchanan has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Ken started their career as an Appraiser at Valuation & Information Group in 2001 and worked there until 2004. Ken then joined M&T Bank as an Underwriter from 2004 to 2005. After that, they joined CWCapital LLC and served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriter for the Eastern Region from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Walker & Dunlop as the Senior Vice President and FHA Chief Underwriter until 2014. Ken was then promoted to the role of Director of FHA Underwriting, and later became the Executive Vice President and FHA Finance Group Head. Ken has been at Walker & Dunlop since 2012.

Ken Buchanan completed their education at the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Ken also holds a certification as a Certified General Appraiser from the state of Maryland.
