Tony Hulton has a diverse work experience, spanning from the military to government organizations and non-profit sector. Tony currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Walking With The Wounded, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Daraz as the Group Director ESG & Corporate Affairs from 2021 to 2023.
From 2017 to 2021, Tony Hulton held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Vision Action, a UK charity that merged with Vision Aid Overseas. Tony was responsible for fundraising, advocacy, strategic communications, government relations, and managing a diverse team in the UK and Africa.
Before joining Vision Action, Tony Hulton worked at the Department for International Development (DFID) as a Senior Policy Advisor from 2011 to 2017. In 2010, they were an Independent Consultant at the UK Government's Stabilisation Unit. Prior to that, they served as the Business Development Manager at Alcis Geo from 2008 to 2009.
Tony Hulton began their career in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as a Programme and Policy Officer from 2004 to 2007. Tony also has experience in the British Army, where they served as an Officer from 1999 to 2004.
Tony Hulton obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1996 and 1999. Tony then pursued a degree in International Relations at King's College London from 2003 to 2004. In 1999, Tony attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for a course on Leadership and Management. Later, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business/Trade/Commerce at Henley Business School from 2012 to 2015.
