Shay Carmel

Shay Carmel is an accomplished product design leader with extensive experience in the B2B SaaS industry. Currently serving as the Director of Product Design at WalkMe™ since January 2021, Shay established and managed a team of 14 product designers while leading the design department for three years. Prior experience includes roles as UX/UI Team Lead at Powtoon and backpack.io, where collaboration with R&D teams and product management was key to enhancing user interfaces and platforms. Shay's previous positions also include UI/UX Team Lead at Screenz, freelance work at Shay Carmel Studio, and senior roles at Whitelabel, THE BOX ltd, and Gitam BBDO. Educational credentials consist of a B.A. in Media Architecture from Sapir College and a certificate in User Experience Design from Netcraft Academy.
