Natalie Smith-Gray

Natalie Smith-Gray is a Professor of Engineering at Walla Walla University since September 2022, following a tenure as a Graduate Student at Washington State University from August 2018 to August 2022, where research focused on vitrification effects on refractory corrosion and sulfate solubility. Prior experience includes an Electrical Engineer Intern role at Key Technology, Inc. from April 2017 to July 2018, contributing to the design and improvement of sorter machines, and assisting with technical publications. Early career experience as a Sandwich Artist at Subway involved designing sandwiches per customer specifications while also serving in an acting management capacity. Natalie holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from Washington State University (2018-2022) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Walla Walla University (2016-2018).
